How to Advertise Your Blog
Join bloggers forum
Join and participate in bloggers forum or portals. Introduce yourself and brief politely about your site. Tell them what your site is about. I’m sure in every bloggers forum, there is a section where you can promote or show off your blog. Post something there.
Describe your blog and invite them to visit. If the forum admin enable signature in post (usually it is enable), put your site link in your signature. That way, peoples can see your site link when you post or reply someone’s post on the forum.
Visit other blogs
You must start it first. Don’t wait people come to your site. Visit other member’s blog and drop them some comments about their blog posts. Don’t give comments say something like, “Hey, nice site!” or “I love your site. Cool!” but give comments that relate to their posts. If they read your comment, they also will visit back to your site.
Another way is, if your post same like other people post, trackback their post. I assume you know how to use trackback. :p
Submit to Blog Directory/Topsites
There are many blog directories in the Internet. Submit your site to as many blog directories as you can. Almost of them are free but some of them you need to put HTML code on your site before your site been listed in their directory.
And join topsites too. If your site is on top rank, there will be more peoples now about your site.
Signature in Email
Put your site link in your email signature. So each time you send or reply email, the receiver will see it. So they’ll know that you have a site and they will visit your site to see what your blog is about.
Join Exchange Link program
This program is a two way feedback. You put their site link on your site and they will put yours on their site. The system goes like that. Beside increase your page rank, it also can bring more peoples to your site.
Public Bookmarking
Submit your contents to any public book marking sites such del.icio.us or Furl, etc. There are many to list here. But make sure that you submit on specific topic or people will ignore it.
Submit to Search Engine
Submit your site link to popular search engine such as Google, Yahoo, etc. There are some sites that can submit your site to 20 search engines for free.
Ping your site
This is a must. Ping your site to Pingoat.com or Pingomatic.com each time you update your site. Both of them give the best ping-ing services.
Well, if you have make all these things I’m sure in one week or maybe less, you will have regular visitors that come to your site. But make sure you have good contents on your site or you will loose them one by one.
Make Money Online by Flipping Blogs
But what about people who can handle content creation but know absolutely nothing about website development and who aren’t comfortable with Wordpress? Is there a way for them to successfully flip websites? The answer is a resounding yes. They can write the content themselves and then read the free Wordpress blog installation tutorials available on the Internet. One blog tutorial site that is very useful for beginner is becomeablogger.com. It provides 10 free tutorials that teach you everything you need to know to set up a Wordpress blog successfully.
You can change the look and design of your Wordpress blog any time without paying a single dime. There are many free Wordpress templates online that have very attractive designs and are appropriate for a number of subjects. Simply download the blog template and upload it to your blog and your blog will have a new look.
If you still need help in the technical aspect, consider using some of the top freelance websites to find freelancer to assist you. Internet marketing forums are another great place to find people that can help you with your Wordpress blog.
It is suggested that you do some research about the best plugins to use for your blog. If you commit a couple of hours to researching the best way to build your blogs, this will be a skill set that you can use for a long time.
Next, make sure that you have your blog monetized. Go to Clickbank and find a few hot affiliate products and copy their banner codes to your blog. If someone else is managing your blog, then send them the code. You may also want to use text links in lieu of a banner. Add Adsense in strategic spots for an additional source of income.
Advertise your blog using traditional internet marketing methods such as press releases, articles, pay-per-click and social networking websites to build traffic and incoming links for your blog. Then sell it for about 6-9 months revenue. If you create several blogs, you can sell them in bulk and make a good amount of money.
There is a lot of money to be made in flipping blogs. That’s it. With this information, you can start making money with Wordpress blogs immediately. Remember, it will require that you be able to generate some traffic and income. However, once you do that, you may start selling it to a buyer who wants to purchase a website that is already making money.
Make Money Online by Buying and Selling Domain Names
To sell the domain names you buy, you will probably need to actively market them i.e. find the e-mail addresses of people that you think may be interested in your name and fire off an e-mail. If you’re lucky or the name you have is an obviously excellent name then you will get an answer saying something along the lines of “How much do you want for your name?”, which is when negotiations begin.
So what is an ‘excellent domain name’. Generally, they are dot coms (dot coms are worth around ten times as much as dot nets) and they are generic e.g. shoes.com, beer.com, business.com.
How much are generic dot coms worth? Well, the highest sale so far in 2008 is Fund.com which sold for the tidy sum of $9.9 million, Invest.com came in at number 5 and sold for $1.015 million, NewlyWeds.com on the other hand was number 53 and sold for $130,000. Sales are reported every week over at DNJournal.com where you can also see a list of the highest selling names of the year.
You may have seen the iReport channel on CNN. Where did they get the name iReport from? They bought it from self-styled ‘Domain King’ Rick Schwartz for $750,000. Rick Schwartz is one of the most successful and well-known of the domainers in the domain name industry. Other big names to look for are Kevin Ham, who has a portfolio of domain names worth around $300 million, Frank Schilling, Sahar, Rick Latona, Yun Ye who sold his portfolio of domain names for $164 million and many more. All these guys have interesting tales of how they got to be where they are by simply buying domain names, hanging on to them for a while then selling them on for a profit.
So what sort of names should you buy? As mentioned above, generic names are the best but of course most of the dot coms are already gone. So if you want a good generic name you may have to buy it off the person who already owns it. Alternatively you can wade through long lists of names that are dropping (i.e. not being renewed) at places like TDNam and Snapnames. Or of course you can try and discover a gem that no-one else has registered (very difficult as all dictionary word dot coms were registered long ago).
AdSense
This is my number one way to make cash, it works well and most bloggers swear to it.
How To Start Blogging
1. Learn the basics using a free blogging platform such as Wordpress.com or Blogger.com. Now there may be limitations with how you can monetize a site if you use these platforms. More serious bloggers actually decide to get their own domains and self-host their blogs to have full control of their web properties.
2. Register your own domain and sign up with a hosting plan. As I mentioned, serious bloggers who want to monetize their sites fully will benefit from hooking up with a solid and cheap hosting provider. I initially used Dreamhost, but then they gave me too much downtime, so I’ve since switched to Hostmonster, which has been awesome! Some other great and cheap choices are: Bluehost, IX Web Hosting, Webhostingpad and Just Host. As for domain registration, I’ve been using GoDaddy.
3. Download and set up the Wordpress application in your hosted environment. Your web host provider may be able to assist you with this.
4. Be patient as you learn the ropes. There’s a lot to learn, but the best way to get inspired is to see how others have done it! Look at popular blogs(designforshow.blogspot) (problogger)....

Traffic, traffic, traffi
"Why is traffic so important? Because for most methods of online income generation, your income is related to your traffic. If you double your traffic, you’ll probably double your income . You can screw almost everything else up, but if you can generate serious traffic, it’s really hard to fail. With sufficient traffic the realistic worst case is that you’ll eventually be able to monetize your web site.
Traffic is the primary fuel of online income generation. More visitors means more ad clicks, more product sales, more affiliate sales, more donations, more consulting leads, and more of whatever else that generates income for you. And it also means you’re helping more and more people."
Building traffic takes time and lots of effort but if the content is good then there will be a nice increase in traffic and income.
Absolutely. But like anything worth doing it takes time and patience and of course some know how.
Can most people do it?
Not sure, I would say don't quit your day job. If your sole purpose is to make money and only money then the answer is NO, but if there is something you are interested in then your chances are much greater. Some blogs wont make any money becouse they might be to personal, people don't care that much aboult other peoples lives unless they are famous. I would suggest that the content you choose appeal to as many people as possible other wise know one will read it.How To Make Money Online
My First blog that I made(http://designforshow.blogspot.com/) was for me a tester blog. It was were I made my mistakes so that in future ventures I could do it correctly. Even still I had fun with it and make aboult $300.00 each month from this one blog. Its not a lot of money but its something. i only spend a few hours a week on this blog so the time is well worth it.
